About Parallel Imports
Products purchased through channels other than official distribution channels are not covered by the domestic warranty or repair service.
The Difference Between Genuine Products and Parallel Imports
As the exclusive distributor in Japan for each brand, SoundEarth delivers products to authorized retailers in the country. Products brought into the country from overseas without going through this channel are generally referred to as “parallel imports.” Even if they look the same, they differ in the following ways:
| Domestic Warranty | One year from the date of purchase |
|---|---|
| Repair Service | Please contact the store where you made your purchase. / We cannot accept parallel imports. |
| Replacement for Defects Found Upon Initial Inspection | Please contact the store where you made your purchase / For parallel imports, please contact the seller |
| Japanese Instruction Manual | Included in the package / Parallel imports may not be included |
| Accessories for the Japanese Market | May vary by product / Parallel imports may not be included |
For example, the QoA bijou comes with a 3.5mm-to-USB Type-C adapter only in the Japanese version. Some products have a different set of accessories than those intended for the domestic market.
